Terms of Service
Last updated: July 22, 2026
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Somnia Sacra and Somnia Lucid (together, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What the Service is — and is not
The Service offers AI-assisted reflection on dreams from two perspectives: a Scripture-anchored sacred lens, and a secular lens drawing on Jungian, Freudian, cognitive, and cross-cultural traditions. Interpretations are devotional and reflective, not prophetic, diagnostic, therapeutic, or medical advice. The Service is not a substitute for pastoral counsel, licensed mental-health care, or medical treatment.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
4. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity on your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
5. Acceptable use
- No content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, or sexually exploits minors.
- No attempts to reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or abuse the AI gateway.
- No use to provide medical, mental-health, or spiritual services to third parties under the guise of the Service.
6. AI-generated content
Interpretations are generated by large language models and may contain errors, omissions, or culturally insensitive framings despite our safeguards. You are responsible for testing interpretations against Scripture, qualified counsel, and your own discernment.
7. Crisis and safety
If you are in crisis, in danger, or having thoughts of self-harm or suicide, stop using the Service and contact emergency services or a crisis line — 988 in the US/Canada, or the IASP international directory.
8. Intellectual property
You retain ownership of the dream content you submit. You grant us a limited license to process it for the sole purpose of providing the Service. Symbol catalogues, devotional content, and software are owned by us or our licensors.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from your profile. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
10. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
12. Contact
